Chamber Music Class focuses on musicality, collaboration and performance. The class will provide a platform for participants to suggest ideas for repertoire and to work collaboratively towards performance.

There will be potential to learn new composition, provide composition or explore specially commissioned work in a creative and supportive environment. As well as the opportunity to play familiar repertoire; adapted to suit class member expertise.

Chamber Music Class is open to strings, woodwind, piano, digital, electric, and percussion to a high level. Chamber Music Class will suit above grade 8 or diploma level musicians.  Or if you haven’t taken grades, by audition, on-line profile, references or by demonstrating performance experience.

ESSENTIAL CLASSES INFO

Teacher Profile: Robert Hyman studied violin at the Juilliard School of Music with Christine Dethier, Ivan Galamian and Margaret Pardee. During this time Robert studied chamber music with members of the Julliard String Quartet and went on to play for the Bergen Symphony Orchestra. Robert is now a member of the Pump Room Quartet and the Goya Ensemble.
