Robert Hyman studied violin at the Julliard School of Music with Christine Dethier, Ivan Galamian and Margaret Pardee, and chamber music with members of the Julliard String Quartet. He was awarded a distinction in Orchestral Performance by Goldsmiths College while in attendance as principal leader of the National Centre for Orchestral Studies Training Orchestra. Robert is co-violinist with the Pump Room Trio. He also founded the Ceres String Quartet, and is a member of the Goya Ensemble. He has taught at Colston School and Dauntsey’s as Well as at the University of Bath.

As per the above, Robert specialises in Classical technique, which is relevant and transferable to other forms of violin playing. Beginners to advanced students.
