The Edge Arts Community (EAC) is a thriving, creative network run by and for our students. It is free to join and open to all students at the University of Bath. The EAC aims to inspire creativity across campus and encourage more students to get involved in arts activities.
Check this page for our upcoming events and opportunities and go to our join Edge Arts Community page to become a member.
The EAC has kindly been supported by the University of Bath Alumni Fund.
The EAC offers something for everyone from dance classes to life drawing workshops. We host regular socials and events giving you the chance to take a regular break from your studies and meet like-minded people in a fun, informal setting.
Whether you’re interested in art, music, dance, theatre, writing or film the EAC has plenty to offer you.
Any University of Bath student can join the EDGE ARTS COMMUNITY for FREE. By signing up to be part of the community you will be part of something special.
As a member of the EAC you can:
The EAC is led by 2 Supervisors, a Marketing Coordinator, 3 Event Coordinators and a Postgraduate Coordinator who are students employed on a casual basis alongside a voluntary Steering Group who make important decisions about the future direction of the EAC.
The Steering Group meets once a semester and is open to all EAC members.
If you’re a student (or member of a society) at the University of Bath and are planning a creative project, you may like to apply for financial support from the Arts Development Fund, which exists to promote and support arts excellence among our student community.
The Arts Development Fund is administered by our EAC Advisory Board and can support any arts-related activity so, if you’re planning an event, want a professional masterclass or need new equipment, apply today.
Applications are accepted throughout the year and are assessed during the EAC’s monthly board meetings.
