Ever wondered how physically challenging ballet really is? Or what it’s like to be in a flash mob?
You’re in luck! On Saturday June 20, as part of the University of Bath Community Activity Day Edge Arts have programmed four 30 minute dance taster sessions in The Edge and a flash mob dance rehearsal at the STV – open to everyone! Sessions include: Ballet Tone and The Touch Diaries, Moving with all the family.
Ballet Tone is a fun, fast-paced class using ballet barre techniques to tone, strengthen and improve your balance. If you like this session watch out for more, as the Edge Arts run will be running regular Ballet Tone classes from October onwards.
The Touch Diaries: Moving with all the family is a fun session to come together and explore touch through play and movement. The Touch Diaries is a research project about touch and human connection, click HERE to find out more about the project.
The Rugby Flash Mob open rehearsal is a chance to learn a simple and fun five minute routine to be performed on July 13th in celebration of the Rugby World Cup trophy tour.
