Ballet is an elegant form of dance focusing on alignment and co-ordination that is great for improving posture and building strength and stamina. These classes cover the basic ground work and technique needed within ballet. The course is great fun and includes barre work, centre practice and some basic allegro steps.
All abilities welcome, no previous experience needed, but you must have a basic level of fitness.
Georgia Delve completed her professional ballet training at Ballet West in Scotland with a BA (hons) in Classical Ballet and Dance Performance. After dancing abroad with Disney for 3 years, Georgia returned to the UK and has since been busy performing on stage and screen in the Bristol and Bath area. She is a guest teacher for 3rd Stage Dance Company, and teaches adult workshops in many dance styles, from street to showgirl, all over the South West. In the past Georgia has taught for various local dance schools, choreographing for shows and exams, and is now looking forward to working with The Edge students.
