In light of the current public health situation, it feels more important than ever for our Wellbeing Programme to continue. As the safety of our community is always our priority, we have decided to continue these classes online. We are offering these free until 17 April giving everyone an opportunity to try the classes before they go on sale.
Continuing with our usual timetable, you will be able to join our online classes using the Zoom app (free to download) from the comfort of your home.
Join us for Dance Fit on Friday 27 March and 3, 10 & 17 April at 12.30pm
Meeting ID: 178 269 735
We recommend attendees arrive a few minutes before the session begins, to allow for a prompt start.
Where the workout meets the dance-floor!
Dance Fit is a high energy, empowering class that sets easy-to-follow dance routines to an uplifting variety of popular music. This class is a real calorie-burner and is guaranteed to work every muscle in your body, combining balance, flexibility, conditioning, and cardio. Most importantly, this class will put a smile on your face! The perfect start to your weekend.
Current favourite routines include: a jive to Crocodile Rock, an intense calorie-burner to Don’t Stop Me Now (Queen), a strong and slouchy reggaeton to Rihanna’s Pon de Replay, a bit of seventies disco to Scissor Sisters and a powerful upper body and arm workout to Blondie’s I’m Gonna Love You Too.
All abilities and levels welcome. Suitable for all, great for beginners!
Siobhain started fitness instruction after a change in career from teaching English. Teaching mambos and box steps instead of punctuation and Shakespeare is hugely satisfying, and she says that it is a privilege to help others on their dance fitness journey – developing physical fitness, mental agility, and emotional wellbeing. Siobhain’s sessions include plenty of energetic, simply choreographed routines set to varied and engaging dance music and, most importantly, they are a lot of fun! Well known in the Bath area, Siobhain has taught dance fitness to children, teens, students, adults and seniors who love the feel-good workout and fantastic music choices she provides.
