A creative space to spend time with texts and materials on the subject of drawing.

The Jerwood Drawing Prize 2017 Resource Room is open to all, with creative stations for both adults and children to get drawing, inspired by the exhibition. Drawings can be added to our display board or taken home to keep.

In the Resource Room you will find a range of texts to delve further in to drawing and pick up tips and techniques to improve your own drawing skills. You can also browse catalogues from past Jerwood Drawing Prize exhibitions to see how drawing in contemporary practice has developed over the years.

Children’s activities:
As well as plenty of tools and materials to get stuck in to drawing, you’ll also find activity sheets in our Resource Room. Designed to accompany the exhibition, these can help young minds engage with the artwork and inspire their imagination to create their own masterpieces.

We’d love to see what you create, if you’re sharing on social media don’t forget to tag #WHYIDRAW
