Bestselling  author, writer, broadcaster and mathematics speaker Alex Bellos takes us on a journey of mathematical discovery with his signature wit and limitless enthusiasm. Alex Bellos has published best-selling mathematics books Alex Through the Looking-Glass and Alex in Numberland.  He is the Guardian’s maths blogger, has written and presented maths documentaries for the BBC and speaks regularly at literary and science festivals.

The talk will be hosted by University of Bath Geometer and Edge Arts’s mathematician-in-residence David Calderbank, along with Chris Budd, Professor of Mathematics.
