Would you like to learn more about bats? Stewart Rowden and The Avon Bat Group will talk all things bats in this special evening exploring their interesting physical form and anatomy, conservation, and how you can support these amazing creatures in your area.
Arrive from 6pm to view Maeve Brennan’s film LISTENING IN THE DARK before the talk, shedding light on the effects we are having on bats and the natural world.
The Avon Bat Group are volunteers promoting the conservation of bats and their habitat in the Avon area of the United Kingdom. They operate in the former county of Avon which was split up into the existing unitary authorities of Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and the city of Bristol. They assist with the conservation of bats and their roosts, give advice and information on matters concerning bats and provide care for, and advice on sick and injured bats.
Membership of the Avon Bat Group is open to anyone interested in bats.
