A ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION LOOKING AT INNOVATIVE WAYS OF MANAGING HERITAGE CITIES LIKE BATH FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF URBAN PLANNING

Join our panel of speakers, between them they hold expertise in restoration, building design, urban space and preservation for this conversation, looking at how to build innovatively in the World Heritage Site of Bath. As listed by UNESCO “Bath reflects two great eras in human history: Roman and Georgian” with the 18th Century re-development “a unique combination of outstanding urban architecture and spatial arrangement”. How best then to consider the needs of modern day Bath and its population in this context with regards urban construction and space utilisation? Bath’s requirement to conserve its qualities whilst developing new assets provide a challenging platform for innovative thinking in this area.
