Liquid Gold Is The Air

Bath

A three-screen video installation by choreographer Rosemary Lee and dance filmmaker Roswitha Chesher

Currently touring cathedrals to film festivals across the UK this acclaimed triptych has recently been awarded the festival prize at Light Moves in Limerick. Richly coloured iconographic images and fleeting dances are complemented by a haunting sound design by Graeme Miller incorporating original composition by Terry Mann.

Presented by Bath Dance & Edge Arts, University of Bath. Liquid Gold is the Air was originally commissioned by The Stables for IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2014 and supported by an Arts Council England Exceptional Award and Milton Keynes Council. Produced by Artsadmin.

You can see the installation for FREE at St Michael’s Church, Broad St, Bath, BA1 5LJ (see map) from Fri 6 – Thur 19 May

I never imagined I could be moved by a moving video triptych, but I was, astoundingly beautiful.
