Edge Theatre

University of Bath arts scholars and associate artists work with industry professionals to create platform, the highlight of the arts excellence year.

Please join us for this wonderful and unique evening showcasing the impressive artistic talent of our students.

The evening opens at 6.30pm, with an opportunity to view work from our two photography scholars.

The performance begins at 7pm and will feature new composition, plus a wide range of repertoire in music and poetry chosen, performed by scholars and supported by our student associate artists.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet with the cast at the after show reception; with music from the University of Bath Jazz Society.

We do hope you will be able to join us to support our scholars and their most excellent friends.

We would like to thank this year’s mentor team; Funk Jazz Saxophone Master, Pee Wee Ellis// Concert Pianist, Nicola Meecham// Musician and Teacher Robert Hyman and Musician and Conductor Phil Draisey. With thanks to our music teaching team, in particular, Alexander Johnson (vocals), Adam Biggs (jazz piano), Rob Brian (drums), Linda Stocks (cello) and Bob Lynn (double bass.)

We are now in the third year of our successful arts scholarships programme, designed to help our most talented student artists to fulfill their creative potential alongside their academic studies. Find out more about the scholarship programme and watch the 2017 Showcase.
