Calling all citizens! What makes a city a great place to live? Join us for a day of talks alongside fun activities for all ages

Spend your Saturday with us experiencing Virtual Reality design, teaming-up with LET’S MAKE ART and LAB-083 to create your house of the future, make a den with KIDESIGN, watch city illustrator ROBERT KAHN and hear our experts on the topics of HOUSING and the role of the ARTIST AND THE CITY. The day closes with our big people’s debate: WHAT MAKES GREAT ARCHITECTURE? Often a hotly contested topic. Everyone is invited to contribute.

Make and take away your ideal living spaces, what will the bedrooms of the future look like?
What type of plumbing, heating systems will be needed? Will everything be powered by the sun and controlled by the internet of things? A drop-in session with the brilliant Let’s Make Art

DRAW THE CITY with architectural illustrator Robert Kahn as he produces a live drawing of Bath, offering you the opportunity to add,change and start-over according to your vision

Join Design Museum Curator Justin McGuirk, writer and cultural commentator Anna Minton (Big Capital) and anthropological researcher Alex Vasudevan (The Autonomous City) as they discuss the importance of housing in the success of future cities
