TUES-SAT, 10AM-5PM, open late for events
Showcasing the wealth of skills and knowledge held by local residents and within the University, this ‘live’ exhibition unfolds as five weeks of talks, demonstrations, discovery days, workshops and practical sessions for those interested in learning new skills or knowing more about the world around them. Events are listed below.
Know-How marks the beginning of the University of Bath’s 50th anniversary year as a higher education institution, and takes inspiration from 2016 being the 500th anniversary of Utopia, the text in which Sir Thomas More depicts a society based on a communality of possessions.
Events are led by local residents, contributing artists and UoB’s campus community.
Contributing artists/collectives to Know-How include Avant Gardening, Emma Smith, Gayle Chong Kwan, Sandra Porter, Sovay Berriman, Vulpes Vulpes, LOW PROFILE and multi–disciplinary design practice The Decorators. Will Shannon contributes elements of exhibition design.
FREE ENTRY: The exhibition and all events are free to attend. Please note booking may be required in certain instances. For further information on how to get the most out of Know-How visit here.
